Details Concerning the Processing of Personal Data

Object: Information concerning the processing of your personal data, in accordance with article 13 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003 regarding personal data protection.
We inform you that our Company is in possession of data about you and it can collect new information, obtained/to be obtained also orally, directly or through other people. The Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003 (the so-called “Privacy Code”) defines this as “personal data”.
In accordance with this decree, anyone who handles personal information must notify the persons concerned what information is processed, and provide them with information about some specific features of data processing. In any case, this has to be accurate, lawful and clear, and privacy has to be protected.
Therefore, in accordance with article 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003, we provide you with the following information:
 

Nature of the data processed


We will process personal and fiscal data, as well as economic ones necessary for our business relations.
We have no intention of collecting any “sensitive” or judicial data, as defined by article 4, paragraph 1, of the Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003.
 

Purposes of data processing

Your data are/will be processed with regards to contractual needs and to the subsequent fulfilment of legal and fiscal obligations. This information will also facilitate management of commercial and financial relationships. Your personal data will be processed during the term of the contract and also afterwards, in order to fulfil legal obligations and for administrative and commercial purposes.

 

Modality of data processing

Your data are/will be processed through means and procedures that will ensure that they are kept secure and private. Data processing is conducted on paper or electronically.
 

Obligation or right to give your data and consequences of your refusal


With regard to the personal data that we are obliged to know, in accordance with the Italian law, with EU regulations, or with Authorities legitimised by the law and by supervisory bodies, we inform you that in the event that these data are necessary for our business relations, yet you decide not to provide us with such data, it will be impossible for us to establish or continue our business relations with you. If on the other hand, with regard to the data that we are not obliged to know, you decide not to give it to us, we will evaluate your decision on its own merits and we will judge accordingly on the basis of how important that data is for our purposes.



Transmission of your data

Your data will not be passed on to unknown bodies in any way and it will not even be possible to access them. On the other hand, we may forward information to one or more known bodies, as follows:

  • within our company, to employees handling data in the exercise of their work, especially those working in Administration, Sales and Marketing;
  • to bodies which are entitled by Italian law or by EU regulations to have access to the data, but always within the bounds established by the forementioned laws and regulations;
  • to bodies, such as credit institutions and forwarding agents, which may need personal data for auxiliary purposes, but always within the bounds of their responsibilities and duties.
  • To bodies having an advisory capacity, but always working within the bounds of their responsibilities and duties. These bodies will receive a letter of commission from our company stipulating the requirement of secure and private data processing.

Your rights

In accordance with article 7 of the Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003, you can exercise the following rights towards us:
  • You can ask for confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning you, even if they are not yet registered. You can also request that the data and their origin be clearly communicated to you. Finally, you can ask to be informed about the purposes and modality of data processing (in case of electronic means, you have the right to know what methodology is applied);
  • You can request any data which are being kept unnecessarily, with regards to the purposes of their collection and processing, to be eliminated, rendered anonymous or blocked;
  • You can ask for your data to be updated, corrected and completed;
  • For legitimate reasons, you can partially or totally object to the processing of your personal data, even if they are relevant to the purposes of data collection.
In order to exercise these rights, you can contact our company and, in particular, Mr Alberto Dezi, appointed by us as the person in charge of personal data processing, in accordance with article 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196 of 2003.
